Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas firmly established the technical capability of the violin as a solo instrument and became a milestone for violinists, becoming archetypes for solo violin pieces by later generations of composers. This concert celebrates the release of Tomas Cotik’s new albums of Bach Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo.
